To all residents of Granby: Your Democratic Town Committee wants to listen, hear you, understand your concerns, and find good solutions to the challenges Granby faces. Working together, we can make Granby even better. Your input is so important to this process. We know that clear communications and working on positive solutions are what Granby residents want and expect. Please spend a couple minutes taking a short survey (link below). You can take the survey anonymously or share your contact information if you want to be a part of the process of finding solutions.
The Granby DTC is appalled by the brazen attack on American democracy that transpired in our nation’s capital on January 6th. We call upon all our elected officials, colleagues, neighbors, family and friends to condemn these efforts to divide our country, to condemn any support of a violent insurrection and any attempt to overturn a free and fair election, and condemn Donald Trump’s betrayal of the Constitution he swore an oath to protect.
Granby sits within two State Senate Districts (the 7th and the 8th) and one State House District (the 62nd). With the sole intent of voter education, the Granby Social Justice Task force provided all Granby candidates an opportunity, via questionnaire, to inform voters on where they stand on a number of issues.
We now have yard signs available to support our Democratic candidates! We are sold out of Biden and Biden/Harris signs, but we still have signs available for:
John Larson for US Representative, 1st District
Audrey Lampert for State Representative, 62nd District (all Granby)
Fred Moffa for State Senate, 7th District (most of Granby, vs Kissel)
Melissa Osborne, State Senate 8th District (parts of West Granby)
